Sonesta Simply Suites Detroit Ann Arbor

I really enjoyed staying here. The room was spacious with a good work area. The bed was comfortable. The workout room has a variety of weights and machines. The laundry room is free. Sonesta is adjacent to a Panera Bread and Moe's Mexican Grill and across the street from Whole Foods, REI and a bus stop. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable and quite pretty. The head housekeeper is excellent at her job so your room will be sparkling clean. I will definitely return.

Full kitchen amenities, plenty of clean towels and bed linens, TV channels, smoke free, free wifi, walking distance to a variety of eateries/restaurants & Whole Foods, plenty of parking, close to highway - no need to drive into busy town, quiet, polite & helpful staff.

Comfortable rooms, updated decor. Plenty of room in 1 bedroom suite. 3 floors, easy in and out, plenty of parking. Perfect location for going to the Big house. About 1.5 miles walk to the game. Convenience stores and plenty of shopping and food options close by. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Clean towels, fully equipped with fridge, microwave, stove, toaster, dishwasher, independent aircon unit. Location - easy to get a Uber within 5 min, near I94 freeway, 7 min walk to Whole Foods

We were put off at first by the HUGE potholes leading up to the property, the 4pm checking (“oh, you can check in early for 15 dollars”-we arrived at 3:15), the tiny, strange lobby, the unpleasant smelling halls…but when we got to the suite it was great! Comfortable, well equipped, everything we needed was there in the small kitchen area. Good work space, comfortable bed, lots of towels, good heating/cooling system. I will go there again. NOTE: our room was ADA: had a roll-in shower, grab bars around the toilet, low hooks and door safety lock, mirror. But the front doors of the building don’t open automatically, nor does the room door. A solo wheelchair traveler would not be able to reach any of the kitchen items or access the fridge.
