We were put off at first by the HUGE potholes leading up to the property, the 4pm checking (“oh, you can check in early for 15 dollars”-we arrived at 3:15), the tiny, strange lobby, the unpleasant smelling halls…but when we got to the suite it was great! Comfortable, well equipped, everything we needed was there in the small kitchen area. Good work space, comfortable bed, lots of towels, good heating/cooling system. I will go there again. NOTE: our room was ADA: had a roll-in shower, grab bars around the toilet, low hooks and door safety lock, mirror. But the front doors of the building don’t open automatically, nor does the room door. A solo wheelchair traveler would not be able to reach any of the kitchen items or access the fridge.

The location was handy for Downtown Ann Arbor (10 min drive) and there were plenty of restaurants near the hotel, which was in a leafy, corporate campus area. Very friendly and welcoming staff who gave us all the information about our stay right at check-in. The Room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. The kitchenette had everything one would need to dine in-room and the bathroom was roomy and clean. The main bed was excellent and it was handy to have a sofa bed. There was a large table to work or dine on, and it was big enough to do both at the same time. The HDTVs (2) were excellent with a vast variety of channels available. Closet and drawer storage was generous and clean.

I really enjoyed staying here. The room was spacious with a good work area. The bed was comfortable. The workout room has a variety of weights and machines. The laundry room is free. Sonesta is adjacent to a Panera Bread and Moe's Mexican Grill and across the street from Whole Foods, REI and a bus stop. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable and quite pretty. The head housekeeper is excellent at her job so your room will be sparkling clean. I will definitely return.

Convenient location- quick drive to the interstate, mall, big box stores; several restaurants and Whole Foods are walkable. Laundry machines were functional and free. Room was pretty clean, updated, and well-maintained, but it did have a strange odor at first that bordered on burnt hair. Didn't get charged for parking after all. This place is light years better than the other long-term hotel in the area in terms of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

Comfortable rooms, updated decor. Plenty of room in 1 bedroom suite. 3 floors, easy in and out, plenty of parking. Perfect location for going to the Big house. About 1.5 miles walk to the game. Convenience stores and plenty of shopping and food options close by. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
